Leinster Rugby
Leinster is the most successful team in the history of the Heineken Cup. Winning three of the last four finals Leinster are currently the number one ranked team in Europe. The current professional team was formed in 1995 but the history goes way back to the amateur era and many former Leinster player has gone on to wear the green jersey of the national Irish team.
Currently playing at the RDS Arena in Dublin they sometimes play at the Aviva Stadium to ensure their strong support get to see them for bigger matches.
Current famous players include Brian O'Driscoll, Jonathan Sexton, Rob Kearney and Cian Healy. Notable former players include Australian legend Rocky Elsom who had a huge impact during his time at the club, Brad Thorn and Felipe Contepomi.
Canterbury has supplied the kit for a number of years now that sports the famous harp logo incorporating a rugby ball.
