Ulster are one of four Irish provincial teams that play in the Rabo Pro Direct 12 League. The team is formed from the geographical province of Ulster that includes six counties in Northern Ireland and three in the Republic.
Playing at Ravenhill in Belfast with a capacity of 12,300, Ulster have competed in the Rabo Direct League from its inception as the Celtic League in 2001. League winners in 2006, they also won the Heineken Cup in 1999 and were runners up to Irish rivals Leinster in 2012.
With a current squad including Ruan Pienaar, Tommy Bowe, Rory Best and Andrew Trimble, Ulster are well positioned to challenge in all competitions in season 2012/13. Kukri is the current kit suppliers to Ulster.
