A calf compression garment used for training and playing matches, worn next to the skin under a traditional playing sock.

What do they do?
Applying compression has shown to speed up venous return - this is how quickly the veins remove de-oxygenated blood and waste products, caused by exercise, from the legs.

Why is this beneficial?
Removing toxins and lactic acid from the legs quicker, reduces the risk of cramp, stops the legs aching and getting tired after prolonged physical exertion, and improves the function of muscle fibre by limiting the dilation of the calf.

What makes them so special?
Boosters apply progressive compression. (Progressive Compression was invented in the 1990's and is scientifically certified using Ultrasound and MRI scanning) This applies very weak compression around the ankle and strong and adapted pressure on the calf. Extensive study and testing has shown that this gives the greatest gains in venous return to sports players.
