This heart rate monitor allows for continuous and on-demand heart rate monitoring. Activate the heart rate monitor by touching anywhere on the steel face, or use the included chest belt for continuous measurement as you train.
With the Heart Rate function, you have the following functions;

enhanced memory recall
a calorie burning monitor
a fat-burning zone monitor
maximum heart rate %
heart rate zone audible alarm
average and highest heart rate of total exercise
below, in and above-zone exercise time

This heart rate monitor also has some additional features which are digital time, date and alarm. It has a countdown timer, stopwatch and lap timer and a backlight.
