Biography
Andrew Sheridan made his first England appearance for an England XV against the Barbarians in 2003 and preceded to win his first full cap in 2004 against Canada, coming off the bench as a sub.
He was a controversial addition to the British & Irish Lions Squad in 2005 and eventually made five appearances in the midweek games but missed out on the Test Matches against the All Blacks.
Later that year he announced his presence on the world stage as he almost single handedly annihilated an Australian front row as neither prop finished the game.
He completed every match of England's 2006 Six Nations campaign but was then ruled out of action for over a year with further international action coming in the 2007 RWC.
He was able to reproduce top form crushing the Australian front row in the quarter final yet again as England marched onto the final.
This powerful front row is an imposing figure and on his day can scrum anyone off the park, just ask the Australians!! Can his force and intense style of play assist the Lions as they aim to upset the South Africans on home turf, only time will tell.
