The Saracens name comes from desert warriors from the late 12th century. Wearing a distinctive black and red kit they were founded in 1876 and have gone on to dominate both the Gallagher Premiership and Heineken Champions Cup in recent seasons.

Originating in St Albans, Saracens returned to London to play in the new Allianz Park stadium that will was the first artificial grass pitch to be used in the Premiership. Famous ex and current players include Michael Lynagh, Alex Goode, Francois Pienaar and John Smit.
