Scarlets Rugby

Formed in 2003, Scarlets are one of four Welsh professional teams. Based at the Parc Y Scarlets in Llanelli, in recent years they have risen as serious contenders in the Guinness PRO14, winning the league in 2004 and 2017.

The team have also done well in the European Rugby Champions Cup, reaching the quarter and semi finals in recent years thanks to their exciting brand of attacking rugby.

The Scarlets name comes from the original nickname of Llanelli RFC. Famous current and former players include Welsh internationals Ken Owens, Leigh Halfpenny, Kees Meeuws the former All Black, Scott Quinnell and Stephen Jones.
