Updated Tuesday 16 July 2019.
We charge VAT at 20% on all orders where the charge is applicable, as specified by HM Revenue & Customs.
Whether we charge VAT or not is based on a combination of the billing address country and the delivery address country, and is calculated as follows:
Where the billing address is within the UK or the European Union and the shipping address is within the UK or the European Union: VAT is charged at the 20% rate on both the goods and the shipping charges.
Where the billing address is within the UK or European Union and the shipping address is outside the UK or European Union: the order is exempt from VAT on both the goods and the shipping charges.
Where the billing address is outside the European Union and the shipping address is within the UK or European Union: VAT is charged at the 20% rate on both the goods and the shipping charges.
Where both the billing address and the delivery address are outside the European Union: the order is exempt from VAT on both the goods and the shipping charges.
Customers in the Channel Islands are exempt from VAT on both goods and shipping charges if both the billing address and the delivery address are within the Channel Islands.
All other orders are VAT free and we will deduct the VAT for you before we send out your order. Some overseas BFPO addresses are entitled to VAT free shopping. If you qualify for this, you must supply (by fax) a signed letter from your company C.O. before placing your order online. Regrettably we cannot refund VAT on any BFPO order after it has been completed and dispatched.
Any customs or import duties charged by the destination country must be paid for by the customer. We have no control over these charges, and rugbystore.co.uk cannot be held liable. Customs policies vary depending on the Country. If you require further information, contact your local customs office.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, UK customers have the right to cancel their order with rugbystore.co.uk.
Under the Distance Selling regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order up to the end of the fourteenth (14th) day following the day you have received your order.
If you wish to cancel you order, please write to us by letter, fax or email with details of your cancellation. If you have received the products, please parcel them back up and send them back to us.
We will refund the cost of the cancelled products back to you plus the delivery charge you paid at the time of ordering based on our standard delivery service (Standard 48hr Service, or Standard Airmail Service depending on destination).
Rugbystore.co.uk will not refund any return postage charge unless the item is faulty or sent to you in error.
Orders for personalised items, underwear or food/nutritional items can not be cancelled.
Extra time is needed if you order a personalised shirt or pair of boots; please allow up to two additional working days for us to personalise your product and despatch it to you. Since personalised products have been customised just for you, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges on these products.
For full details regarding returning products for refund or exchange, please see the section on Guarantee, Returns & Faulty Goods. Items that have been printed, embroidered or personalised cannot be returned for refund or exchange; they can only be returned if they are faulty.
